Pete Pearson

Pete Pearson has lived in Japan and Europe and in several states before moving to Santa Cruz over 40 years ago. “Employment opportunities first brought me to this area. The friendly attitude of the residents and the beauty of Santa Cruz County has kept me here. I could have lived anywhere but made a deliberate decision to make Santa Cruz my home.” 

He has vast experience as a Realtor, Commercial Banker, Mortgage Banker and Real Estate Loan Broker. He has worked for County Bank & Trust as a Commercial Loan Officer, as a Vice President of Commercial Pacific Bank and Co-Founder, President & CEO of Shoreline Residential & Construction Lending Inc. In those various roles Pete has been involved in the purchase, sale, development, construction financing, or refinance of well over 1,000 housing units in California, Utah and Arizona.

Pete has been licensed with the Department of Real Estate since 1986. He has owned investment properties both residential and multi residential throughout Santa Cruz County, Pine Mountain Lake and Utah.

Pete is a graduate of Brigham Young University.

Married to Haruyo Pearson. Father of Jeff Pearson, Steve Pearson, Mike Pearson and Tracy Pearson all who attended local schools. Grandfather of 3 grandsons and 2 granddaughters.


Pete always works at the pace of his clients. He has earned the National Association of Realtor designation of Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES).

In his spare time you can often find Pete driving around town in his '67 VW or walking his black Labrador Retriever on the beaches in the area and the trails around Chaminade.
